Ulun Danu Temple

Ulun Danu Temple is a Balinese Hindu Temple located at Candi Kuning countryside, Baturiti sub district and Tabanan regency. The distance from Denpasar town is about 50 km north side the way from Denpasar to Singaraja. It is set at lakeside of Beratan with beautiful lake view and hills surround it.
Ulun Danu is the act of pretending that subak disungsung by the farmers. Mengwi built by the king in 1633, this temple complex has a mixed architecture of Hindu and Buddhist. Marked by a Buddhist stupa on the left and as he passed the entrance you will immediately be in the main part of the Lotus Temple Bang.

Part of this temple is dominated by banguan’mer ‘seven stories. Then there is a smaller temple that is used as a place of worship the god of food and beverage called Pura Dalem Purwa.

Pretend this is in one complex and the lake water tide, this temple will sink slightly, aka tegenang water. (Remember Lake Bratan right?) Then there Ulun Danu Bratan which is the center of Balinese irrigation. This temple is marked by the Meru 11 level for the worship of Vishnu, Meru level 7 for Brahma and Meru level 3 to Shiva.
