1. Candi Borobudur (Borobudur Temple)
The Borobodur Temple complex is one of the greatest monuments in the world. It is of uncertain age, but thought to have been built between the end of the seventh and beginning of the eighth century A.D. For about a century and a half it was the spiritual centre of Buddhism in Java, then it was lost until its rediscovery in the eighteenth century. Tamansari or Water Castle was build by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I in 1758 as a rest house and pleasure park for the Royal family. Tamansari means beautiful garden. Its located on Jl. Ngasem Yogyakarta, Indonesia, less than 1 Km west of Kraton. Everybody in this town knows where Tamansari is.

Dieng Plateau located on Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia, situated around 2000 m above sea level and 100 km from Borobudur or northwest of Yogyakarta. The name “Dieng” means “abode of the gods.” There the visitor can find restarted temples build around year 800, colorful lakes and steaming ones.
