Monkey Forest Ubud
Paved road around the tree and nature of sound featuring your small journey surrounding the forest for 30 minutes. Other than abandon of funky monkey settling to the tree, you can visit Dalem Agung temple and Pura Permandian Suci which has 3 concepts, are : first is “ Utama Mandala”, which is dedicated to the God.This area is located in the main city of Ubud facing to the south down hill, inhabited by plenty of monkeys ready for food offered by visitor and sometime they can put on ferocious displays of temperament if they got nothing. The 8 hectares of landscape garden here functioned as sanctuary center in Bali.
Second one is “Madia Mandala” which has a holy pool. And third is “ Nista Mandala”, as public bathing. The monkey here will be friendly if get no trouble. Be careful if you feed them and don’t use accessories. We can reach this place easily by passing Monkey forest street in Ubud of by foot about 15 minutes from Ubud st. The tariff here at Rp. 10.000 for adult and Rp. 5000 for
children.
